Join authors Steve Early and Suzanne Gordon at Autumn Leaves Books to discuss their new PM Press book Courage or Complicity: How Veterans Are Responding to the Assault on Democracy. They’ll report on how military veterans—as well as their unionized care-givers at Veterans Affairs and other federal workers—are responding to attacks on their jobs and healthcare and pushing back against mass deportations.
Learn about the ongoing community-labor struggle to prevent the VA from being defunded and dismantled. Learn about anti-MAGA organizing among military vets within organized labor and efforts to build cross-union unity among federal labor organizations to “Save The VA.”
This event is free. Join us upstairs on the mezzanine. Keep in mind, seating is limited.
