Join us for two hours of a combination of lessons and open dancing! No dance experience necessary.
The first hour will be devoted to line dance instruction, starting with easy dances and working our way up to something more complex.
The second hour will be devoted to open dancing for newbies and experienced dancers alike.
Who are the Silver Spurrs?
Harry Westervelt and Gail Young–Leach are professionally trained Country Line Dance Instructors, affectionately known as “The Silver Spurrs.
Local instructors Jim and Wanda York introduced Gail to country line dancing in 1998. Harry has been country line dancing since 1989 and has attended many training seminars. They both continue to upgrade their dancing skills with semi-annual line dance training events in the Hudson Valley Resort in New York State.
Together they have 51 years of country line dancing experience. For the last 15 years they have been teaching line dancing in adult communities and schools throughout central New Jersey.
