When you have questions about your child’s development, knowing what to do next can feel overwhelming. Could It Be Autism? is designed to give families a comfortable place to start.
Join us at Proud Moments ABA in Albuquerque for a special screening event where families can take an initial step toward getting answers, ask questions, meet our team, and learn more about autism and developmental differences.
Families who reserve a screening appointment will complete the SCQ questionnaire and then have dedicated time with Dr. Kovatch to review their results, discuss what they’re noticing at home, and talk through possible next steps.
While parents meet with Dr. Kovatch, Proud Moments staff will be available to engage children, answer questions, and provide tours of our center.
Meet Dr. Kovatch
Dr. Kovatch is a highly experienced clinician who has been conducting autism diagnostic assessments for 33 years. Her compassionate, family-centered approach helps families feel heard and supported as they seek thoughtful, individualized answers about their child’s development.
What to Expect
- Complete an initial developmental screening questionnaire
- Meet one-on-one with Dr. Kovatch to discuss your results
- Ask questions about autism and developmental differences
- Tour the Proud Moments ABA center and meet our team
- Activities and support for children while parents meet with the doctor
- Light refreshments and helpful take-home resources

Important Registration Information
Advance reservations are required for screening appointments.
Each family will have dedicated time with Dr. Kovatch, so the number of appointments available is limited and we expect them to fill quickly. Please register in advance to reserve your appointment time.
