Come dressed like you mean it. 👻
Fall on First Ave is giving you four chances to turn bad decisions, hot glue, face paint, and questionable judgment into a chance to win.
We’ve got four costume categories running back to back, each judged. Winners are announced immediately after each category, so you can collect your glory and get back to wandering the festival.
Free to enter. No preregistration. Zero requirement to have your life together.
THE CATEGORIES
12:15 PM · KIDS 0–12
Tiny goblins first. Homemade, store-bought, adorable, terrifying, wildly overcommitted, we want all of it.
12:30 PM · PETS
Dogs, cats, emotional support iguanas...
Okay, maybe check with us on the iguana.
Pets must stay leashed and with their human.
12:45 PM · TEENS 13–17
Costume effort may range from “I forgot this was happening” to “I spent 46 hours making this.”
Both energies are welcome.
1:00 PM · ADULTS 18+
You pay taxes.
You answer emails.
You deserve to dress like a Disney character for once.
THE PRIZES
Every category gets:

🥈 2nd Place · $15
Will this cover what you spent on your costume? Probably not, but at least you'll have fun!
HOW TO ENTER
No preregistration needed.
Just head to the host table before your category starts, grab your contestant number, and prepare for your moment.
Or show up in normal clothes, stand in the crowd, and silently judge everyone else.
MAKE A DAY OF IT
Come early for Spooky Storytime at 9:30 AM, shop local vendors throughout the day, catch one of the pumpkin carving waves, and find out who takes home pie-baking glory at noon.
Fall on First Ave is free to attend from 9 AM–3 PM.
