COSMIC SUNDAYS | Pisces Archetype - Performance, Lunch & Dancing

The first episode of Cosmic Sundays had to be cancelled last March for personal reasons. We couldn’t be happier to say that Paint It Black, Universo Maglia & The Gut are joining together again with a new date !

Cosmic Sundays is a new series of experimental gatherings exploring the energy of the zodiac archetypes.

Born from the intertwined histories of Sofia Mattioli (Universo Maglia) and Anna Boglione (The Gut), the project is rooted in memories of long Sunday lunches and youthful nights spent dancing together in London.

For the inaugural gathering, we enter Pisces , the mutable water sign ruled by Neptune, god of the sea. Seen as a spiritual corridor where timelines dissolve and converge, Pisces is connected to the number 12, the number of divine completion, surrender, and transformation.

Its light is compassion, intuition, imagination, empathy, and unconditional love.

Its shadow is confusion, escapism, victimhood, illusion, and denial.

Join us for a sensory, playful, intimate, and transformative afternoon as we move through the light and shadow of Pisces through shared food, poetry, music, and immersive moments.

Il primo episodio di Cosmic Sundays è stato annullato lo scorso marzo per motivi personali. Siamo felicissimi di annunciare che , & si riuniscono con una nuova data!

Cosmic Sundays è una nuova serie di incontri sperimentali dedicati all’esplorazione dell’energia degli archetipi zodiacali.

Il concept nasce dalle storie intrecciate di Sofia Mattioli () e Anna Boglione () e dai loro ricordi di pranzi domenicali e danze Londinesi. Per questo primo episodio scopriamo i Pesci, segno d’acqua, mutevole e governato da Nettuno, il dio del mare. Considerati un corridoio spirituale in cui le linee temporali convergono, i Pesci sono collegati al numero 12, simbolo di compimento divino e dissoluzione.

La loro luce incarna gentilezza, compassione, intuizione ed empatia. La loro ombra rivela confusione, fuga dalla realtà, vittimismo e negazione.

Unisciti a noi per un’esperienza sensoriale, giocosa, intima e trasformativa, attraversando luce e ombra di questo segno attraverso cibo, poesia, musica e momenti immersivi.

Anna Boglione , daughter of the founders of Petersham Nurseries, grew up in the world of hospitality before founding The Gut, London, a platform exploring the link between food, health, and culture. Author of Recipes to Reconnect, she is now based in Milan, where she continues her work with The Gut, Milan.

Anna Boglione, figlia dei fondatori di Petersham Nurseries, è cresciuta nel mondo dell’ospitalità prima di fondare The Gut a Londra, una piattaforma che indaga il legame tra alimentazione, salute e cultura. Autrice di Recipes to Reconnect, oggi vive a Milano, dove prosegue il suo lavoro con The Gut, Milano.
Ambra Pittoni is an artist, choreographer based in Turin. She is the co-founder of The School of the End of Time and co-artistic director of the Workspace Ricerca X - Research and Dramaturgy. She has been performing and exhibiting at Museo Madre (Napoli), Rinomina (Paris), Crédac (Ivry sur Seine), De Appel (Amsterdam), OGR (Turin), CCA Zamek Ujazdowski (Warsaw), Fondazione Baruchello (Rome), Lavanderia a Vapore Turin, PAV (Turin), Ashkal Alwan (Beyrut), Roberta (Frankfurt). She co-curated the Educational Program of the 6th Moscow Biennale for Young Art as well a yearly artistic research program at Lavanderia a vapore. She is a PhD candidate at the Linz university of the Arts with the practice-based research project The promise of the abyss, Body practices and new spaces of knowledge where she has been the recipient of the VALIE EXPORT research fellowship. Among her recent publications: Ten obvious and not so obvious questions about Artistic Research in Performer les savoirs, Les presses du réel, Dwelling in the unhomely: of unconstituted subjects and their Legendary Psychastenia, Friends make books.

Ambra Pittoni è artista e coreografa di base a Torino. Cofondatrice della Scuola della Fine del Tempo e co-direttrice artistica di Workspace Ricerca X - Research and Dramaturgy. Ha esposto i propri lavori e performance presso Museo Madre (Napoli), Rinomina (Paris), Crédac (Ivry sur Seine), De Appel (Amsterdam), OGR (Torino), CCA Zamek Ujazdowski (Varsavia), Fondazione Baruchello (Roma), Lavanderia a Vapore Torino, PAV (Torino), Ashkal Alwan (Beyrut), Roberta (Francoforte). Ha co-curato il Programma Educativo della 6° Biennale d’Arte giovane di Mosca e co-cura un programma annuale di ricerca artistica presso Lavanderia a vapore. È dottoranda presso l'Università delle Arti di Linz con il progetto di ricerca artistica The promise of the abyss, Body practices and new spaces of knowledge, dove ha ricevuto la borsa di ricerca dal VALIE EXPORT archive center. Ala d’Amico (b. 1985, Rome) is an Italian-Brazilian artist living and working in Rome. Her practice focuses on the life of images, exploring processes of transformation and reappropriation through analogue and digital reproduction techniques. Moving between archival and personal imagery, her work investigates the tension between uniqueness and seriality, authorship and use. Since 2021 she is the founder of ORME, an experimental fine art print studio.

Ala d’Amico (b.1985, Roma) è un’artista italo-brasiliana che vive e lavora a Roma. La sua ricerca si concentra sulla vita delle immagini, esplorando processi di trasformazione e riappropriazione attraverso tecniche di riproduzione analogiche e digitali. Muovendosi tra immagini d’archivio e materiali personali, il suo lavoro indaga la tensione tra unicità e serialità, tra autorialità e utilizzo. Dal 2021 è fondatrice di ORME, uno studio sperimentale di stampa d’arte.
Valerie Giampietro (b. 1978, Roma) lives and works in Roma. Her practice focuses on the exploration of light and natural expression, using analogue techniques. Landscapes, faces or natural elements are part of a spontaneous universe collected in a personal archive. She is co-founder of the art project STUDIOLI in Rome. Her work was recently exhibited at Ermes Ermes in Roma; SOLDES in Los Angeles.

Valerie Giampietro (nata nel 1978 a Roma) vive e lavora a Roma. La sua pratica si concentra sull’esplorazione della luce e dell’espressione naturale, attraverso l’uso di tecniche analogiche. Paesaggi, volti ed elementi naturali fanno parte di un universo spontaneo raccolto in un archivio personale. È co-fondatrice del progetto STUDIOLI a Roma. Il suo lavoro è stato recentemente esposto da Ermes Ermes a Roma e da SOLDES a Los Angeles.
Alessio Capovilla (1985, Turin, Italy ) is an Italian composer interested in sound modelling, imperfect sounds, unpunctual distortion and unsuitable atmospheres are constantly researched by Alessio. A dialogue between ancient tools and new technologies through synthesis, computer music and field recording, crossing beats and genres towards something not easily definable.

Alessio Capovilla (1985, Torino) è un compositore italiano la cui ricerca si concentra sulla modellazione del suono. Il suo interesse si rivolge a sonorità imperfette, distorsioni irregolari e atmosfere volutamente incerte. Il suo lavoro nasce dall’incontro tra strumenti antichi e tecnologie contemporanee, attraverso l’uso della sintesi, della musica computerizzata e delle registrazioni ambientali, muovendosi tra ritmi e generi diversi per dare forma a un linguaggio sonoro difficilmente definibile.
