What happens when one of Mozart’s most famous operas is transported all the way to Antarctica?
Join author and piano teacher Vasiliki Dimakopoulou for a lively and imaginative introduction to Così fan tutte, reimagined as a humorous story set in the colourful penguin town of Penguinapoli.
Through storytelling, illustrations and music, children and families will meet Mozart’s unforgettable characters in a completely new form, discover the story behind the opera and explore how classical music can inspire imagination, humour and adventure.
The event forms part of Vasiliki’s wider project to introduce young people to classical music through stories — making composers and great musical works accessible without turning them into a traditional lesson.
An entertaining session for curious young readers, families and anyone who believes classical music can be fun.
