Il corpo umano è ancora una volta il protagonista in questa mostra, seguito della precedente, in cui è analizzato anche provocatoriamente nelle sue infinite possibilità di interazione sociali, psicologiche e naturalmente estetiche, attraverso le opere di nove artisti, provenienti come sempre dalla Collezione OGA.
Neno Belchev (Varna, Bulgaria, 1971). Diplomato alla National Academy of Art di Sofia, in Bulgaria, Belchev lavora come videoartista e regista, ma anche con la performance, l’installazione, la scultura, i nuovi media ed è curatore indipendente. Ha partecipato a moltissime mostre collettive internazionali. Il suo approccio è sempre quello di cercare di guardare oltre la superficie delle cose, nella loro vera essenza, anche attraverso la provocazione, riflettendo su come il mondo sta cambiando sotto i nostri occhi. Usa molto spesso l'umorismo, ma prende molto sul serio la sua arte.
Johannes C. Gerard (Colonia, Germania, 1959) Artista di nazionalità tedesca e olandese, ha studiato alla School of Printmaking and Design di Colonia, in Germania, e alla Dun Laogharie School of Art and Design di Dublino. Durante la sua carriera artistica ha vissuto e lavorato in molti paesi. Attualmente vive a Berlino e L'Aia. Dal 1981 partecipa a mostre, progetti, video/film in tutto il mondo. Nel 2007 la fotografia, l'installazione e la stampa sono diventate le sue discipline predilette, poi nel 2012 realizza le prime installazioni video e nel 2014 i primi video e alle arti performative.
Werther Germondari (Rimini, 1963) Artista visivo, performer e filmmaker. Attento a dinamiche innovative sperimentali neo-concettuali che si caratterizzano per un gusto ironico e surreale, svolge dai primi anni ottanta una ricerca attraverso numerosi media espressivi. Ha partecipato a esposizioni in gallerie private e spazi sperimentali internazionali, alternando installazioni d’ambiente, videowork e atti performativi, focalizzando l’attenzione su elementi nascosti, attinenti a una visione reale, sociale e politica. Nel 2013 ha ideato l’Ospizio Giovani Artisti.
Draga Jovanovic (Cacak, Serbia, 1977) è un artista visiva e vive a Toronto, in Canada. Si è diplomata in disegno, pittura, scultura e grafica nel 1999 presso la Novi Sad Academy of Fine Arts, in Serbia. È poi andata in Germania dove ha conseguito il Master post-laurea presso la Kusthochschule Kassel (Università di Kassel, Germania). Nel suo lavoro, attraverso brevi esperimenti di film e fotografia, ha avuto a che fare con l'identità e la sua natura molto diversa e instabile. I suoi video vedono spesso un monologo affiancato ad una parte visiva fortemente basata su ritratti umani.
Bill Pacer (Baltimora, USA, 1949) è un produttore, scrittore ed attore di mentalità aperta e versatile. Ha anche lavorato come direttore del casting e location scout. Collabora e vive con LaDonna Allison, protagonista del video in mostra, che è una satira sul cinema e la società. “Ho pensato questo video per i miei amici che hanno vissuto Hollywood. Alcuni hanno rifiutato le tipiche profferte sessuali, altre no. Volevo mostrare una situazione in cui le donne umiliate umiliavano con gioia le altre solo perché ‘è show-business’ ". (B.P.)
Adrian Pablo Rosati (Cordoba, Argentina, 1966) Fotografo e artista visivo italo-argentino, attualmente risiede a Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Isole Canarie, Spagna. Il video e le foto in mostra sono state realizzate da Rosati nel periodo di quarantena a causa della pandemia causata da Covid-19. È un poema sinfonico visivo che tratta della malinconia che la solitudine e il confinamento producono. Dal video in mostra: "Tra il bordo del mio letto e il pavimento, c'è un abisso, un luogo inesplorato che salgo ogni giorno...".
Rowan Romeiro (Florianopolis, Brasile, 1995). Laureata all’Università di Pelotas, è una fotografa, regista e curatrice. Predilige la fotografia analogica, ma ha realizzato anche cortometraggi sperimentali: ‘sono interessata a creare opere che possano raccontare alla gente la realtà in cui vivo e portare la gente nel mio mondo di sogni ad occhi aperti’. Il lavoro fotografico in mostra è ‘un breve viaggio fotografico intorno al mio corpo, alla mia nudità, alla mia sessualità e a me stessa’.
Austin Sane (Aledo, IL, USA, 1993) è un regista e fotografo del Midwest americano, specializzato nel genere surreale e horror. "Il mio obiettivo, quando si tratta di arte, è quello di creare delle porte verso realtà non ancora immaginate. E lo farò essendo impenitente e sincero con ogni mio progetto". E a proposito delle sue opere in mostra dice che sono "uno sguardo surreale sulla vita di un uomo al limite. La sua mente è incrinata e la follia si diffonde".
Ulla Žibert (Trbovlje, Slovenia, 1988). Nel 2015 si è laureata in Scultura all'Accademia di Belle Arti e Design di Lubiana. Mentre il suo precedente impulso artistico gravitava principalmente intorno a collaborazioni con altri artisti, nel 2017 ha iniziato ad esporre il suo lavoro con una personale a Pirano, in Slovenia, in occasione del 52° evento internazionale di pittura EX-TEMPORE, dove ha vinto il 1° premio. ‘Il mio obiettivo principale è quello di mettere in discussione le pratiche quotidiane e rendere visibile l'invisibile’.

The human body is once again the protagonist in this exhibition, a follow-up of the previous one, in which it is also provocatively analyzed in its infinite possibilities of social, psychological and naturally aesthetic interaction, through the works of nine artists, coming as always from the OGA Collection.
Neno Belchev (Varna, Bulgaria, 1971). Graduated from the National Academy of Art in Sofia, Bulgaria. Belchev works as video artist and filmmaker as well as in the fields of performance, installation, sculpture, new media and independent curator. Neno has participated in a wide range of solo and group, national and international exhibitions. His task as an artist is to look through the cover of things in their real essence. To provoke the people to see how of front of their own eyes their own world is changing. He uses very often humour, beside that in the other hand I take my art very seriously.
Johannes C. Gerard (Cologne, Germany, 1959). Dutch/german artist, he studied at School of Printmaking and Design, Cologne, Germany and at Dun Laogharie School of Art and Design, Dublin. During his art career lived and worked among others in Ireland, Spain, Argentina, Taiwan. Currently lives in Berlin and The Hague (NL). Since 1981 participation in exhibitions, projects, video/film world festivals. In 2007 photography, installation, printmaking became main disciplines. In 2012 first videoinstallations. In 2014 first videofilms. At the same time became interested in performance arts.
Werther Germondari (Rimini, Italy, 1963) Visual artist, performer and filmmaker. Interested in innovative experimental dynamics that are neo-conceptual and situational, characterized by a taste for the ironic and surreal, Germondari has experimented for 35 years through many different expressive media (from painting to installations, photography to film, videos to live performance). Germondari's works have also been shown in solo exhibitions where he focuses on hidden elements highlighted in styles. In 2013 he founded the Ospizio Giovani Artisti.
Draga Jovanovic (Cacak, Serbia, 1977) is a contemporary artist that is based in Toronto, Canada. She completed her Bachelor’s degree, faculty of drawing, painting, sculpture and graphics in 1999 at the University of Novi Sad Academy of Fine Arts, Serbia. On completion, she went to Germany where she got her Postgraduate Masters degree at Kusthochschule Kassel (University of Kassel, Germany). In her work, through short experiment movies and photography, she has been dealing with identity and its very diverse and unstable nature.
Bill Pacer (Baltimora, USA, 1949). Bill Pacer is a mature, open minded, and versatile producer, writer and SAG/AFTRA actor. In addition, he has worked as a casting director and location scout. Bill has an unlimited perspective of life, and savors every breath and breathes boldly. Will Go Far, LLC, which Bill co-owns with LaDonna Allison, epitomizes Bill's exciting reality as they have solo shows about Ben Franklin, Mrs. Ben Franklin, and others. And Will Go Far goes farther than simply G-rated shows. They strive to eschew social stigmas and question artificial barriers.
Adrian Pablo Rosati (Cordoba, Argentina, 1966) Italian-Argentinean photographer and visual artist, currently resides in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain. The video and the photos in the exhibition were made in the quarantine period due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19: “It is a visual symphonic poem that deals with the melancholy that solitude and confinement produces. "Between the edge of my bed and the floor, there is an abyss, an unexplored place that I climb every day ...".
Rowan Romeiro (Florianopolis, Brazil, 1995). Graduated from the University of Pelotas (Brazil), she is a photographer, director and curator. She prefers analog photography, but has also made experimental short films. “I'm interested in creating works that can tell people about the reality I'm living in and bring people to my daydream world”. About her photographic work in the exhibitions she said: “A brief photographic journey around my body, my nakedness, my sexuality and myself”.
Austin Sane (Aledo, IL, USA, 1993) is a Midwest filmmaker and photographer. He specializes in the surreal and horror genre. “My goal when it comes to art is to create doors to realities not yet imagined. I will do that by being unapologetic and true with each and every one of my projects”. And about the works in the exhibition he say that they are “a surreal look into the life of a man on the edge. His mind is cracking and madness is seeping through”.
Ulla Žibert (Trbovlje, Slovenia, 1988). In 2015 she gratuated in Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. While her previous artistic imput gravitated mainly around collaborations with other artists, in 2017 she started exhibiting her solo work with the first one being in Piran/Slovenia at the 52th International painting event EX-TEMPORE, where she won the 1st prize. “My main focus is to question the everyday practices and make invisible visible. To challenge the viewer into new ways of seeing, thinking and perceiving the structures of thought, and ways of existence”.
