Join fellow foresters, woodland owners, arborists and land managers at the Cornwall Woodmeet Winter Meeting on Wednesday 2nd December, 7pm, at St Erme Community Centre, Trispen. Hear the Kernow Weather Team look back at Storm Goretti and what our woods may face in future. Catch up on agroforestry at The Arbor Farm, practical training with Secure Forests and orchard restoration with Resilient Orchards. There’s also the latest on deer and squirrels from Chris Mason, drone work from Arborair, and updates from FWAG, Forestry England’s new SW Moors Project Officer and Forest for Cornwall. With the bar open until 10pm and pasties on offer (a £5 donation is appreciated; orders by Monday 23 November), it’s the perfect chance to share ideas and connect with Cornwall’s woodland community. All are welcome.
