In honour of Fire Prevention Week 2026, Cornwall Fire Services is hosting a Community Open House at the Tollgate Fire Hall!Join us for a day filled with fun, learning, and hands-on activities, all centered on this year’s theme: “Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower.”
• Free BBQ lunch served by the Cornwall Optimist Club, plus Happy Popcorn
• Live action demos featuring OPP & CBSA K9 units, auto extrications, and a simulated building fire at the training tower
• Live music provided by DJ Wheelz and fun games for kids
• Sparky’s Toy Drive accepting new unwrapped toys or cash donations
• Explore emergency vehicles and equipment up close
This year’s event focuses on keeping your family safe when charging everyday devices at home. Educational materials and practical safety tips will be available to help you stay informed and protected.
