About this Event
Join us at Cornhill Belfast summer school for a week of training in how to understand the bible for ourselves and teach it to others
If God speaks to us from the Bible, how is it that we are not more excited by that? Does every part of the Bible say more or less the same thing or are there things we are missing?
Are there right and wrong ways of handling God's word?
During Cornhill summer school week, we will be thinking about how the enduring word of God still addresses us today, as we consider some of the basic tools which enable us to understand the Bible and apply it appropriately to our own lives and the lives of others. Andrew Sach, who teaches on the Cornhill Training Course in London, will help us get to grips with God's word, along with Moore Casement, who runs Cornhill Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the key elements of the Cornhill Training Course and for any who are interested in considering further study at Cornhill, there will be the opportunity to meet with and chat to current Cornhill students during the week. It could also be a great way of gearing up for any summer opportunities you might have to teach the bible to children or teenagers.
