Come and join Bal Feirste in an extended evening of dance, the best of craic - no need to bring a partner!
Emmanuel Pariselle is one of the best melodeon players in France, a singer & writer of beautiful songs & melodies, not to mention an expert in French regional dance music.
Join us in dance, and hear Emmanuel’s specially-designed 'Franglo' concertina. He will be joining us with another instrument maker and renowned accordionist from Brittany called Thierry Beuze.
We look forward to welcoming this wonderful duo to Belfast as guest musicians for our May bal, they will play a mix of Balfolk and Breton repertoire.
Bal Feirste is a not-for-profit organisation, running monthly bals from September to June - always with live music; with a number of guest artistes each year, as well as a number of dance workshops.
We look forward to welcoming you to this wonderful evening of live music from France. The evening also includes:

- BYO, with Eco cups to buy or borrow for the evening
- Parking available at the venue
Book early to avoid disappointment as numbers will be capped. We can only offer 25 discounted tickets on Eventbrite - otherwise you can buy directly from Core members at £8 (advance sales), or on the door at £16. Advance ticket sales end at noon on the day before the event for admin purposes.

Logistics: please note that An Droichead's pedestrian gate will not be open. As you enter Cooke Street, the carpark for An Droichead is the first set of open gates on the left. Entry to the building is via the carpark; from there, walk past the mobile classroom on your right, and turn right. The main red brick building will be on your left, walk straight ahead to the metal gate, and take a left.
