A Fundraiser Benefiting Alora
Alora was born prematurely on May 28, 2025, alongside her twin sister, Amaya. At just four days old, she developed NEC, a life-threatening intestinal disease that began a 147-day hospital stay filled with multiple surgeries, sepsis, a rare infection affecting her blood and brain, organ failure, and severe brain injuries. There were moments when her family was told she might not survive.
But Alora fought.
She beat NEC. She beat sepsis. She beat the infection. And despite everything she endured, she continued to defy expectations.
Today, she lives with Cerebral Palsy, but she is crawling alongside her sister, sitting and playing independently, clapping, making kissy faces, saying “Mama” and “Dada,” and reaching new milestones every day.
On Friday, September 25th from 6:30–10:30 PM, we’ll gather at Café Hope in Gretna for an evening of food, drinks, music and plenty of singing and dancing!

General Admission Tickets include a buffet. Reserved seating is only included with VIP Tables.
A full bar is available throughout the evening.
