Little legs. Big trees. All aboard!
Join Silicon Valley Weekly Corgi Meetup for a Sunday morning steam-train adventure at Roaring Camp Railroads. Bring your corgi, meet fellow corgi people, and enjoy a ride through the towering redwoods together.
The plan for Sunday, November 1
- 10:00am — Arrive and group up. Allow time to park, get your tickets situated, and meet the group.
- 10:30am — Train departs. Please be ready to board before departure.
- Around noon — Return from our redwood ride.
Where: Roaring Camp, 5401 Graham Hill Road, Felton, CA 95018.
Tickets for people and pups
- General Admission: $31.95.
- Children ages 2–12: $23.95.
- Pups: free — please register your dog with a Pups ticket so we can count our four-legged passengers.
Check the ticket checkout for your final total. Please book by October 16 so we can organize the group booking and final headcount. Roaring Camp's group rate requires payment for at least 25 people; pup registrations do not count toward that minimum.
Before you head out
- Parking: $10 per vehicle, separate from your train ticket. Carpooling is a good option.
- Food: food and parking are separate charges and are not included in your train ticket. After the ride, everyone is welcome to meet for lunch at the onsite Chuckwagon BBQ or Georgie’s Cook House. Purchase your own lunch and enjoy more time with the group.
- For your corgi: bring a leash, water, a bowl, and cleanup bags. Please keep your pup close and give other dogs space.
- For you: wear comfortable shoes and bring a layer for the morning.
Steam trains can be loud, so consider your dog's comfort around whistles, steam, and other dogs when planning your visit.
Come for the redwoods, stay for the corgi company. We look forward to riding together!
