About this Event
The Sunday scaries don't stand a chance against a room full of Corgi puppies.
Welcome to Corgi Puppy Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Toronto. This is one hour of beginner-friendly yoga shared with a pack of stumpy-legged, big-eared, aggressively charming Corgi puppies who have absolutely no idea what a Sunday is and zero sympathy for your inbox.
Corgis are herding dogs at heart, which means they are alert, playful, and mildly convinced they are in charge. Expect them to investigate your mat, supervise your downward dog, and occasionally sit on your feet with great confidence.
Here's how the hour breaks down:
- 35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga
- 20 minutes of connection and cuddle time
- 5 minutes of sharing circle
Why people keep coming back
Puppy yoga in Toronto does something a regular yoga class cannot. A Corgi puppy wanders over, flops against your leg with total commitment, and your nervous system just... exhales. People book this as a treat for themselves and end up making it a monthly ritual.
A note on Corgi puppies
Corgis are famously spirited, curious, and deeply social. They were bred to move cattle, so they come with a lot of personality packed into a surprisingly low frame. In class, that translates to puppies who are eager to engage, quick to explore, and genuinely delighted by human company. They are gentle enough for a yoga setting and entertaining enough that you will probably forget you were ever stressed.
Kids are welcome at this one.
Kids ages 5 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian who also participates and helps the child move gently and handle the puppies with care.
Mats provided. No experience needed. Come exactly as you are, Sunday mood and all.
