About this Event
Toronto had a long week. The Corgis did not notice, and honestly, that's the whole point.
Welcome to Corgi Puppy Yoga by Yoga Kawa in Toronto, where the mats are laid out, the music is low, and a small army of fluffy, big-eared Corgi puppies is about to make your afternoon significantly better than whatever you had planned.
Corgis are famously enthusiastic, deceptively speedy, and built low to the ground with the energy of a dog twice their size. They will find you. They will investigate your water bottle. They will probably sit on your feet during Warrior II, and you will not mind at all.
Here's how the hour breaks down:
- 35 minutes of easy, beginner-friendly yoga
- 20 minutes of connection and cuddle time
- 5 minutes of sharing circle
Why people keep coming back
Puppy yoga in Toronto does something a regular yoga class cannot. A puppy wanders over, settles against your leg, and your nervous system just... exhales. The inbox stops mattering. The to-do list goes quiet. You are just a person on a mat with a very small, very fluffy dog, and that is genuinely enough.
A note on Corgi puppies
Corgis are herding dogs by instinct and social butterflies by personality. They are curious, confident, and surprisingly bold for their size. Expect a puppy who makes eye contact, trots over with purpose, and then flops dramatically against your shin like you've been best friends for years. They are playful, affectionate, and very good at making a room full of strangers feel like a room full of friends.
Families and kids
This class is family-friendly. Kids ages 5 and up are welcome. Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or guardian who also participates and helps the child move gently and handle the puppies with care.
Mats provided. No experience needed. Whether your last yoga class was last Tuesday or never, you will be just fine here. Come as you are, take up space, and let a Corgi puppy do the rest.
