Practical workshop on pelvic floor & core after birth - weeks, years or decades. Chair-based, clothed, donation-based.
About this Event

With Ramona Peoples from Body Orchestra, in partnership with E14YogaCoach.

Many women carry tension, weakness, or quiet confusion about what's "normal" after birth.

Whether you gave birth months ago or decades ago, you may not actually know where your pelvic floor and what the warning signs are.

You may be worrying about running, lifting, or intimacy. Your bladder may not be emptying properly and leaving the house requires an "emergency pee".

This workshop addresses the core questions we hear again and again, plus the hidden connections, breath patterns, scars and posture that can still be affecting you years later.

What we'll cover
  • Pelvic floor function: tight vs. weak vs. uncoordinated - and why "just do your Kegels" isn't the whole story
  • Core stability basics: why your back or hips might be taking over, how that contributes to discomfort, and how to rebalance
  • The hidden impact of scars (abdominal, perineal) on pelvic floor, breathing and posture - even years after birth
  • Safe guidelines for daily loads, lifting, running, trampolining
  • Warning signs: incontinence, prolapse symptoms, the "emergency pee" - what to take seriously and when to seek help
  • Self-assessment tools to know your own baseline without fear or shame
  • Menopause considerations: how hormonal changes shift pelvic health
  • Practical home techniques for mobilisation, activation and confidence

Who's this for?

Any woman who has pelvic floor concerns, whether or not you have had children.

Mums who have issues months, years, or decades after birth.

If you've quietly been putting up with any of this, you're welcome.
