Why this exists / who it’s for
End of life is a natural part of life, but most of us were never taught how to talk about it, plan for it, or support the people we love through it. The result is often confusion, fear, and regret – for patients, families, and caregivers. The Good Death / Good Life Café is a free, community gathering for adults of all ages who want a kinder, more prepared way to face aging, serious illness, and end of life.
What happens at the Café
During this 75 minute Café, we’ll explore practical and emotional topics around aging and end of life in clear, compassionate language. You’ll be invited (never forced) to share your thoughts, ask questions, listen to others, and learn simple ways to support yourself and the people you care about. This is not a therapy group or a place where anyone is “fixed.” It is a safe, respectful space to learn, reflect, and connect.
What to Bring:
Yourself, a notebook if you like to take notes, and a willingness to listen and share as you feel comfortable. Cost: This event is free to attend. Location & access: Meeting room 1st floor. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to settle in. Emotional safety: We will be talking about aging, illness, and end of life. You are welcome to step out, take a break, or simply listen at any time. Your privacy and emotional well‑being are respected.
