About this Event
Face Off Hockey is a structured pick-up ice hockey game designed for players of all skill levels — novice to advanced. Our goal is for everyone to have fun. This is a no checking, no fighting club. We showcase talent, not attitudes, and openly welcome newcomers.

Game Structure
Each game has 10 players per team, split into 2 lines per team. Line 1 is for competitive/advanced players; Line 2 is for casual/beginner players.
Lines rotate on 3-minute shifts with a faceoff at center ice at every line change. Goals and points are not recorded.
Referee
The referee's job is to facilitate flow — not to call penalties.
- Puck drop at each line change
- Whistle blown after a goal — play does not stop
- Whistle blown for dead puck to protect goalies — play does not stop
- Offsides and icing are called — play does not stop
- Anytime the puck is blown dead, the defending team takes immediate possession
Goalies
We aim for at least 2 goalies per game. If unavailable, an alternative goal blocker will be arranged.
Goalies play for free. Repeated no-shows may result in fees and future bans.
Arrival & Warm-up
Arrive at least 20 minutes before puck drop and check in with the game administrator.
A 5-minute warm-up is followed by a 1-minute puck collection, giving 84 minutes of actual game time.
Jerseys
Only Face Off approved jerseys may be worn. Loaner jerseys are provided.
