Join Cooperation STL for our first Cooperative Connections event. This event is for food and beverage entrepreneurs and workers (or people with a really good food and beverage business idea) who want to meet other folks in the industry who are interested in cooperatively owned businesses.
We'll start with a brief presentation on co-op basics and then provide lots of time for attendees to meet, get to know each, and brainstorm.
Definition: A cooperative (co-op) is a self-governing group of people who voluntarily work together to meet their common economic, social, and cultural needs and aspirations through a jointly-owned and democratically-controlled enterprise.
