COOL CHANGE — THE ULTIMATE LITTLE RIVER BAND TRIBUTE
When Graeham Goble OAM, founding member of Little River Band, describes your show as “Authentic and Exciting”, you know you’re doing something right.
And when legendary LRB songwriter and guitarist David Briggs says Cool Change is “as close to the real thing as you will get, without riding on the tour bus!”, you know this is far more than your average tribute show.
Cool Change celebrates the extraordinary musical legacy of one of Australia’s most iconic bands — Little River Band.
Tracing the story from the musicians’ early days with The Twilights, Axiom, Zoot and Mississippi, through the classic Little River Band years and into the John Farnham era, Cool Change brings together the songs, musicianship and unmistakable harmonies that helped create one of Australia’s greatest international musical success stories.
Expect a night packed with timeless Australian classics and unforgettable songs from across the LRB catalogue, performed by six exceptional Melbourne musicians with the precision, energy and musicianship these songs deserve.
Fronting the band is Judd Field, an accomplished singer and natural frontman whose television credits include X Factor, Australian Idol, Australia’s Got Talent and Dancing With The Stars, along with touring experience alongside international Australian sensation Tones And I.
Joining Judd are Jim Nash on drums and vocals, Rob Powell on bass and vocals, Shane McKay and Dan Romano on guitars and vocals, and Scott Stickland on keys and vocals.
Together, they recreate the soaring harmonies, brilliant melodies and classic musicianship that made Little River Band’s music part of the soundtrack of generations.
From the opening note to the final chorus, Cool Change — The Ultimate Little River Band Tribute is a celebration of an extraordinary Australian songbook performed with authenticity, respect and an infectious live energy.
