Artists need places to play. To be new at something. To build community. To try, tinker, and create.
For Creative Workshop No. 3, I’m bringing back the earring-making workshop + adding something new: the Pearl Soup experience.
You’ll still be able to shop from the shapes, charms + materials I’ve brought to previous classes to create your own pair of earrings. We’ll talk about using pliers and jump rings, coordinating colors, and finding that sweet spot between balance + asymmetry.
But this time, I’m also opening up my bead pantry.
Inspired by my latest collection, Pearl Soup, you’ll have the option to make a beaded bracelet, necklace, or both. I’ll teach you the techniques I use to make my own pieces—working with beading wire, crimping, adding clasps, making eye pins to connect beads + stones to chain, and finishing your pieces so you can actually wear them home.
You don’t need any experience, and you don’t need to come in knowing exactly what you want to make. Come play in my stuff, try some things, change your mind, make something weird, make something beautiful.
There are three ways to take the class:
$50 — Earrings
Make your own pair of earrings.
$75 — Earrings + Bracelet OR Necklace
Make a pair of earrings + your choice of a beaded bracelet or necklace.
$100 — Earrings + Bracelet + Necklace
Make all three.
All materials are included.
Come play, create, meet some good people, and leave with some new skills + some new jewelry.
