Cooking with Fire! (we're back!)We rarely get a chance to try medieval cooking methods as the summer camping season usually comes with a fire ban. So, the Household of the Silver Pot invites you to bring a pipkin or cast iron pot and try cooking some medieval recipes using medieval methods.
Not interested in cooking? All are welcome to come out for a fun afternoon of tasting and visiting.

Time: starts around 11am on Sunday November 22nd, ends whenever people decide to go home
Location: Goldstream Provincial Park in the day use picnic area
Finlayson Arm Rd, Langford, BC V9B 6H7
Facilities: covered picnic tables, firepits, plumbed toilets, including accessible toilets. Space for little ones to run around, but please be mindful of the river.
Bring: a chair, a dish you would like to prepare, or your own food (pre-prepared), and don't forget to bring your "feast gear" (plate/bowl/cutlery/cup).
Costumes/garb is optional. It can be cooler at Goldstream so bring layers.
