About this Event
Join Chef Bridgette Anderson, founder and executive chef at The Free Spirit Kitchen, for a workshop celebrating farm fresh produce from Live Earth Farm! Chef Bridgette brings over twenty years of experience and inspiration to Farm Discovery, specializing in creating meals that are simultaneously wholesome and adaptable to the pace of modern life.
Dedicated to nourishing both body and spirt, Bridgette will begin with fresh seasonal vegetables from our own Live Earth Farm to create an exciting twist on classic ingredients. To begin this workshop, Farm Discovery staff will lead guests on a tour of our nonprofit farm to connect with the space where the ingredients for their meal are sourced.
Next, Chef Bridgette will guide guests through preparing a Korean-inspired dish in just an hour featuring gochujang-honey chicken thighs and sesame-garlic broccolini alongside quick pickled carrots and onions with a scallion-ginger sauce.
Please join Farm Discovery staff and Bridgette after the learning and cooking is done for a sit-down meal where we will toast to our culinary achievements with a wine-pairing! Don't miss out on this opportunity for a fun date night, easy learning with family and friends, or a experience all to yourself!
Please wear closed-toed & close-heeded shoes, tie up long hair, and bring a water bottle, sunscreen or protective clothing & snack! All supplies will be provided.
Accessibility: This workshop includes extended periods of standing. Please inform us of any necessary accommodations.
