Cooking for Families: A Mexican Feast! 🌮🌿
Join Joyfull Greens for a fun, welcoming, beginner-friendly hands-on cooking session where you'll create a colourful plant-based Mexican feast from scratch.
Perfect for the half-term break, this relaxed session is a great way to spend quality time with family and friends while cooking, eating and learning together.

Working in pairs, you'll prepare a range of delicious Mexican-inspired dishes before sitting down to enjoy the feast together.
Children aged 10+ are welcome but must be accompanied by a paying adult (parent, guardian or responsible adult) throughout the session (maximum two children per family). Spaces are limited.

Who Is It For?
This workshop is open to everyone. No previous cooking experience is required. Whether you're completely new to cooking or looking for fresh ideas for family meals, we'd love to welcome you.
Children aged 10+ are welcome but must be accompanied throughout the session by a paying adult (parent, guardian or responsible adult). Maximum two children per family.
What to bring
- A container for any leftovers
- Comfortable clothing and tied-back hair

- A reminder email will be sent before the event.
- Please let us know about any allergies when completing your booking.
🌿All ingredients are provided and the class is entirely plant-based.
We will enjoy the meal together at the end of the session and any surplus food can be taken home.
This workshop is open to all. Joyfull Greens is a not-for-profit organisation.
If you cannot afford the class fee for any reason, please contact us in advance — we never want cost to be a barrier.
However, your class fee and donations directly support our free community cooking classes for those who cannot afford them.
If you enjoy the session and are able to donate more, thank you — it truly helps us continue this work.

Important Notes:
- Allergies: Please inform us of any allergies when booking. Food is prepared in a kitchen that handles allergens, although we do not use dairy or eggs.
- Under 16s: Children must be accompanied by a paying adult (parent, guardian or responsible adult) throughout the session.
- Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers: We require a minimum of 5 days' notice for cancellations, refunds or transfers. If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else.
- Illness: If you become ill within 5 days of the class, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else.

As a not-for-profit organisation, workshop income helps subsidise our free community cooking classes for people experiencing financial hardship.
If you cannot afford the class fee, please contact us in advance. We never want cost to be a barrier to accessing healthy food education.

Booking
You must book in advance and only attend if you have received a confirmation email.
Places are limited to 12 participants.
A minimum of 6 bookings is required for the class to be viable in this venue. We reserve the right to cancel the class if this minimum number is not reached, or in unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by us, participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered a full refund or an alternative date where available.
