About this Event
Join Chef Carla for a hands-on baking class where you will make two pies and one fruit tart to take home. Learn how to make dough from scratch, prepare sweet and savory fillings, and assemble each bake.
You will make:
- Classic Apple Pie: A woven lattice crust filled with sweet, spiced apples.
- Chicken Pot Pie: A flaky double-crust pie filled with tender chicken and a savory filling.
- Fruit Tart: A crisp tart shell topped with fruit.
Chef Carla will guide you through making pie crust and tart dough, rolling and shaping your dough, preparing fillings, and creating lattice tops and decorative cutouts.
Take Home: Two 9-inch pies, one apple and one chicken pot pie, plus your fruit tart.
Prefer to bake your pies at home? We will wrap them so you can refrigerate or freeze them, then bake them for your holiday table or special occasion.
