Cook, Serve, and Eat with Awesome People! (South Austin)

Thank you for looking at this event!

Food Not Bombs Austin helps prep, cook, package, and distribute food to unhoused and food insecure neighbors in Austin.

We volunteer at a location located in South Austin

There are two shifts:

Morning Shift starts around 11:00 (cutting & cooking).

Afternoon shift starts around 2:30 (packing meals for delivery).

You can come and go as you please. No signups/skills/requirements needed, just a willingness to help.
We typically have volunteers every week that are not shown in the attendance.
We need your help with:

• Cleaning: dishes, tables, floors, trash. You know, the usual stuff.
• Packing: putting food into containers. Think of it as a Tetris game.
• Delivering: bringing food to the hungry. Feel free to sing along the way.

This is not a ticketed event, but we are required to create tickets to operate on eventbrite. You do not need to present your tickets in person.

You will get the address right after you sign up and by email. There are also additional instructions to follow which will be included in the message and the email.
