About this Event
Kadillak is a rock band based out of Athens, Georgia that draws inspiration from a variety of genres to produce a unique sound through the lens of a female perspective. The songs are collaboratively written by the four-piece fronted by lead singer Kadi Bortle. Carson Lillard creates elaborate guitar sections accompanied by bass player and harmonist, Sam Smith, and drummer, Caleb Wallace.
Convince the Kid:
Trevor Thrift and Jeff Vernon's creative partnership has been evolving since meeting at the University of Georgia Music Business school in 2018. This iteration of their Moniker 'Convince the Kid' is revived from a canceled Georgia Theatre show in April of 2020
With Tears for Fears-esque synthesizer and electronic drums pinned against QOTSA styled jangling guitar work, Convince The Kid creates a ying and yang balance between analog and digital worlds.
