Conversations That Open Doors: A Networking Workshop & Breakfast

This in‑person workshop, led by Lorraine Needham, Ivey Certified Executive Coach, reimagines networking as a powerful leadership capability, not a performance or popularity contest.

Instead of elevator pitches and forced small talk, we’ll focus on how authentic conversations and meaningful professional relationships quietly open doors, build influence, and shape career trajectories. Over breakfast and with a warm coffee in hand, participants will have the chance to put new insights into practice in a relaxed, real‑world setting - because the best connections happen when you’re simply being yourself.

StepUp is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization with a mission to StepUp the advancement and development of women in the energy sector to leadership and Board positions.

Founded in 2019, we achieve our mission by bringing about cultural workplace change through senior level participation of both men and women in our field trips, professional development and networking events, and connecting members through an online community. Our industry events are a source of best practices and knowledge sharing on issues of diversity and inclusion. We actively promote knowledge building, discussion, learning and connection.
