About this Event
What if one meaningful conversation could help change the way our community sees homelessness?

From noon on October 8 through noon on October 9, Visalia Rescue Mission CEO, Michael Simmon, will spend 24 hours on a bench in front of the Mission, inviting our community into honest conversations about homelessness, poverty, hope, and new beginnings.
The event will be livestreamed and open to the public. Community members can sit on the bench with Michael, enjoy a cup of Mission Coffee, and be part of a conversation that brings greater awareness to the challenges facing our neighbors, and the hope that lasting change is possible.
We would love to invite you to participate in a way that works best for you:
- Partner with us through one of the available sponsorship levels
- Support the event with a gift in an amount that is meaningful to you
- Send a representative to sit on the bench and join the conversation
- Sponsor the event and sit on the bench!
