In this two-day exploratory workshop, beginning and continuing students are encouraged to experiment with color, texture, and flow to discover the endless possibilities of mosaic. Various tools and techniques used in contemporary mosaic-making will be demonstrated, as well as proper adhesives, surfaces, design/layout, and grouting. Students are introduced to a myriad of materials and may complete one or two projects during the workshop. All materials, supplies, and use of tools are provided.2 day workshop. Bring a lunch.
