About this Event
Be part of the second annual SWLA Infectious Disease Symposium, a day of education, collaboration, and networking for healthcare professionals across Southwest Louisiana. In partnership with the Partnership for a Healthier Southwest Louisiana, Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center, Comprehensive Care Center of SWLA, and City of Lake Charles, we are proud to present Contagious Knowledge: An Infectious Disease Symposium for Medical Providers.
Meet us at the Lake Charles Event Center for a full day of engaging presentations and expert-led discussions focused on infectious disease issues impacting our region. Sessions will include HIV, TB, Epidemiology State of the State, and Common Childhood Infections.
The symposium will also feature an interactive Hot Topics Panel with healthcare providers covering timely and emerging concerns such as Candida auris, Legionella, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis, and syphilis.
Breakfast, lunch, and continuing education credits for nurses will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you there for another impactful day of learning and connection.
