水に流す
“Let the water flow”
--Japanese proverb
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This workshop is inspired and informed by my recent movement research in Japan. I set out with the question of “what can I learn from water?” And, “how can I be water?” This workshop series is based on many hours of observing water and spending time with the water. We will explore through movement and CI:
• connecting with the water, flexibility, and flow in our bodies
• finding pathways and openings to flow and expand into
• harnessing qualities of gentle float and convictional force
This workshop is open to all levels. The water has something to teach all of us.
