Celebrate finishing The Complete Stories by Flannery O'Connor by visiting the place that inspired it: Milledgeville, Georgia.
Join us on November 14 (and, optionally, November 15) for a tour of Milledgeville.
Tickets are $200 and include a self-guided tour of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Flannery O'Connor's home parish; a guided tour of Andalusia, the farm where O'Connor lived with her mother (and lots and lots of peacocks); a book club conversation hosted by Annie; and a dinner in downtown Milledgeville on Saturday night.
On Sunday, you're invited to mass at Sacred Heart, followed by brunch at Greene's Southern Kitchen. Sunday's events are optional, and brunch is pay-on-your-own.
Please note: Tickets do not include accommodations; hotel reservations must be made separately. A block of rooms has been reserved under "Conquer a Classic" at Fairfield Inn & Suites in Milledgeville for a reduced nightly rate, and reservations must be made by October 14. You can call 478.452.5202 to make your reservation. Transportation to and from events is not provided.
