Connolly Hayes started with a moment of chemistry. In summer 2023, Jess Hayes and Frankie Connolly shared a stage at the Isle of Wight Festival and hit it off straight away. Jess is a powerhouse soul vocalist from South London who got a four-chair turn on ITV's The Voice. Frankie is an acclaimed singer and guitarist who has played Ronnie Scott's and performed internationally.
They recruited Beau Barnard (bass), Joe Mac (keys) and Andy Wilder (drums), five long-time friends with a shared musical language. Taking cues from Tedeschi Trucks Band, Marcus King, Bros Landreth and Chris Stapleton, they blend blues, rock and soul with big vocal harmonies, virtuoso guitar and keys, and one of the grooviest rhythm sections on the UK scene.
