Outline of the demo:
1. Meet the Dog
Observe their personality, energy and behaviour before picking up the camera.
2. Reading the Dog
Identify what the dog is comfortable with, what gets their attention, and how they
naturally interact with the space.
3. Build Trust & Connect
Demonstrate how we approach, engage and create a comfortable environment for the dog.
4. Find the Story
Identify what makes this particular dog unique and what we want to communicate
through the images.
5. Choosing the Shot
Explore different angles, compositions, light and perspectives based on the dog and the
story.
6. Shoot & Adapt
Photograph in real time while responding to the dog's behaviour and embracing the
unexpected.
7. Review the Results
Look at what we captured and explain the choices, moments and images that stood out.
About Dinah Harvey:
My name is Dinah Harvey. I’m 26 years old, an Architectural Engineer graduate and Egypt’s first professional pet photographer. What started as a love for dogs and photography has grown into a full studio dedicated entirely to pets. I launched Clooper Studios three years ago; a pet photography studio that captures beautiful playful moments of pets with their owners, giving people irreplaceable memories of their pets to cherish forever. The studio was inspired and named after my two dogs Cleo + Cooper. Clooper Studios has experience with over 300+ dogs and 30+ cats. My style is natural, colourful, and expressive, always focused on the details that make each dog one-of-a-kind, as they truly are. I believe pet photography should be creative, and full of heart and I enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with others — helping pet parents take images they’re proud of, even with just a phone in their hands at home. Pets bring so much joy into the world and especially into their owners’ worlds, and I feel lucky that my job lets me capture a little piece of that every day.
