This free Mental Health Month & BPD Awareness Week workshop by e2 Services is for workers in any sector with clients who experience BPD and/or other mental ill health & distress. The themes this year are Find Your Way to Wellbeing & Connection Changes Outcomes. This workshop celebrates these themes by encouraging workers to prioritise their own wellbeing, while practicing safe, powerful connection with their clients to improve outcomes for both.
Connecting with Clients is created by a Lived Experience Educator who has developed & facilitated workshops for 6+ years for community members, carers, mental health clinicians and disability support workers. Emma is a qualified Peer Worker who provides Psychosocial Recovery Coaching and peer supervision in addition to her many lived experience roles.
Information will include some of the neurobiology of mental illness, the diagnostic criteria of Borderline Personality Disorder, patterns of emotional regulation, the importance of setting & maintaining boundaries, prioritising self care and improving outcomes for the people you're working with.
