Connecting business and community with BizEd and new independent cafe, Billie and Mair in Whitchurch
Join us for an exciting in-person event where we bring together business, community and education leaders to build connections and explore new opportunities. It's the perfect chance to share ideas, learn from each other, and strengthen our local network in a welcoming setting.
Why Billie and Mair?
Billie and Mair independent cafe is based in the former Moo and Boom and has just opened under new management with fresh decor. It's a great venue with plenty of space and gives a lovely informal vibe.
So we are really pleased to be showcasing their beautiful cafe right in the heart of Whitchurch.
What can I expect at the event?
BizEd will there be to greet you and answer any questions on the night. You do need to register for a ticket.
There will be some light refreshments and a chance to chat with other organisations about your work and theirs. We are happy to facilitate introductions and connect you with others if you are new - please don't worry!
There will be some displays of different projects in Whitchurch and a short talk from BizEd about some of our current and new upcoming programmes. Obviously we would like to hear about any news at your business or organisation.
We are hoping to hear about the Kings Award for Voluntary Service in person from the Deputy Lieutenant for Shropshire.
We would welcome any ideas or suggestions of how you would like to see the network move forward and will open the floor if anyone would like to speak. If you are interested in sharing a story or opportunity please let us know. We hope to build regular features and opportunities through the group over time.
