About this Event
Connecting Community Through Movement with Raya
What to expect
This will be a gentle and supportive evening designed to help you reconnect with your body, calm the nervous system, and create space for deeper rest.
We’ll begin with a 45-minute beginner-friendly Pilates session with Raya, using gentle movement to help release tension, build body awareness, and support a more settled state before sleep.
After the movement session, we’ll slow things down with a restful meditation, giving the body and mind time to soften and settle.
We’ll then finish with a gentle sharing and integration circle, with space to reflect on how the movement felt, what you noticed in your body, and simply connect with others in a relaxed and supportive environment.
What to bring
- A yoga mat or something comfortable to lie on
- Comfortable clothes you can move freely in
- A water bottle
- A blanket or warm jumper for the meditation and integration circle
- A pillow or cushion if you’d like extra comfort
We’ll provide
- A welcoming and beginner-friendly space
- A gentle Pilates session with Raya
- A restful guided meditation
- A sharing circle for integration and reflection
- Herbal tea and light refreshments to help you settle afterwards
No Pilates experience is needed. This is not about performance or getting every movement right — it’s simply an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your body, move gently, and finish the evening feeling a little more grounded and rested.
Just come as you are.
