- 13:00 – 15:00 walk to the River Frome, with demonstrations of Riverfly and water quality monitoring methods (weather permitting)

What citizen science is happening across the Wilder Frome area? Where are the gaps, opportunities and challenges? And how can we work together to make monitoring more effective and impactful?
Join us for the second of our workshops bringing together volunteers, community groups and organisations to build a shared picture of citizen science activity across the Wilder Frome Programme area.
We'll explore:
- What citizen science is already taking place
- Experiences of taking part in citizen science, including support, challenges and training needs
- What are volunteers and organisations most keen to monitor?
- Opportunities for better coordination and collaboration
We'll also provide an introduction to the Severn Vale Catchment Partnership and the Wilder Frome Programme, setting the scene for the discussion.
Whether you're already involved in citizen science or looking to get started, we'd love to hear your perspectives and ideas.
