How can local artists and businesses find one another, collaborate, and support our creative community?Join SoCoCulture on Thursday, November 12, for a member meeting focused on building connections between artists and local businesses across South King County.
Just in time for Small Business Saturday and the national Artists Sunday campaign, we'll explore how partnerships between artists and businesses can create new opportunities, bring art into everyday spaces, connect businesses with new audiences, and strengthen our local creative economy.
Featured Speakers
Max Heigh and Rea Mizuta | Neighborhood Café's Featured Artist Program
Max, owner of Neighborhood Café, and Rea, Project Manager, will share how their new Featured Artist program creates opportunities for local artists and how businesses can support and showcase creative talent.
Sarah Miller | Where to Show Your Art: Finding Local Businesses to Support and Showcase Your Work
Learn how artists can connect with local businesses to find places to display their work, build relationships, and reach new audiences.
We'll also make time for open discussion and idea-sharing about the benefits of artist-business partnerships and how we can make more of these connections happen throughout South King County.
Whether you're an artist, creative business, community partner, or simply interested in strengthening our local creative economy, we'd love to see you there!
