This ConnectHer session welcomes Mandi Lobar, Project Manager at Collective Contractors, for an open and practical conversation about her own career journey.
Before moving to New Zealand, Mandi had more than 10 years of project and programme management experience in South Africa. After arriving in Auckland, she studied, worked in customer service, became a peer tutor supporting construction management and quantity surveying students, and eventually moved back into her profession as a Project Manager.
Mandi will share what she learned along the way — from adapting her overseas experience to the New Zealand environment and building local connections, to finding her way into the construction industry.
