Connected Parents 5 Week Antenatal & Infant Feeding Course 💛Pregnant and looking for antenatal classes that will leave you feeling properly prepared for birth, feeding your baby and those first few weeks of parenthood?
Our Connected Parents 5-week antenatal course in Ramsey is relaxed, practical, evidence-based and designed to give you plenty of time to actually explore your options, ask questions and build confidence before your baby arrives.
We're Sarah and Jo, sisters and the two people behind Connected Parents CIC. Sarah is a birth doula and antenatal and hypnobirthing teacher, and Jo is a breastfeeding counsellor and infant feeding support worker.
Across five weekly sessions, we'll explore:
❤️ How labour and birth actually work
❤️ Your birth choices and options
❤️ Hypnobirthing and practical comfort techniques
❤️ The birth partner's role and how they can really help
❤️ Pain relief, interventions and making informed decisions
❤️ Breastfeeding and infant feeding preparation
❤️ Understanding your newborn and getting feeding started
❤️ Postnatal recovery and emotional wellbeing
❤️ Preparing for those first days and weeks together
And we don't just sit and talk at you for three hours! There are practical activities, demonstrations, discussions, plenty of tea, and lots of opportunities to ask questions.
Our groups are deliberately small, friendly and informal. Partners are very much included too.
One of the most important things to us is that you leave feeling informed rather than instructed. We'll give you good, evidence-based information and help you understand your options, but we're not here to tell you how you should give birth, feed your baby or parent.
The practical bits

💷 £250 per family

Connected Parents is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC). We deliberately subsidise our antenatal courses because we want really good birth and infant feeding preparation to be accessible to local families.
If £250 would put the course out of reach for you, please talk to us. Reduced-cost and fully funded places may be available. 💛
And your connection with us doesn't have to finish when the course does. You'll also be able to become part of our wider Connected Parents community, including our free New Parent Group and WhatsApp community, so there are familiar faces and local connections waiting for you once your baby arrives.
Places are limited so that we can keep each group small.
