About this Event
In this experiential group attendess will learn about Dia de Los Muertos (the day of the dead). It is the celebration of life originating from Mexican and Ancient Mesoamerican communities. We will discuss the significance of altar making and specific elements to include on it. Together we will create an altar to honor our loved ones and then experience a gentle hypnosis to connect with them. There will be time to share the experience together through conversation and while enjoying light refreshments.
Led by Erica Dawn, licensed psychotherapist, healer, Reiki Master and Hypnosis guide. This holiday and tradition is near and dear to my heart as it is tied to my Mexican ancestors. I also enjoy the topics of grief and how we can make meaning and continue to celebrate our loved ones who are no longer in human form. Death is not to be feared but a transition to be honored.
