Connaught Street is getting spooky again! 👻
Connaught Street & Environs Community Group are delighted to bring back our free, family-friendly Halloween afternoon in Connaught Gardens, in collaboration with Athlone Festivals Committee, Westmeath County Council and as part of Home of Halloween Longford & Westmeath.
we will have our Regular themed outdoor Market and Family Fum Day with hot food trucks, local produce, and coffee trucks, live music throughout the day and trad session following the Market.
Expect pumpkins, hay bales, spooky decorations, local market stalls, music, treats and plenty of Halloween mischief among the beautiful old gardens.
We’ll have a Spooktacular Hide & Seek for younger children, with spooky characters hidden among the stalls, along with a treasure hunt for the older ones.
We are also planning fancy dress fun, pumpkin photo spots, alpacas, activities in our spooky garden and a Halloween-themed market full of local crafts, food, gifts and seasonal bits.
It’s a lovely daytime event for families, visitors and anyone who fancies a wander through Connaught Gardens with a bit of Samhain magic thrown in 🧡
Free entry. Costumes very much encouraged! 🎃🕷️
