Sunday 3rd May – Old Man of Coniston & Dow Crag Hike
Begin your adventure with a classic Lakeland mountain day. Starting in Coniston village, this guided circular hike takes in the dramatic ridges of Dow Crag before summiting the Old Man of Coniston — one of the most iconic peaks in the South Lakes.
We’ll walk at a steady, enjoyable pace with time to take in the views and chat along the way.
Distance: Approx. 6.5 miles
Grade: Moderate – suitable for women with good fitness
Route highlights: Dow Crag, Old Man of Coniston, ridge walking, mountain views
Atmosphere: Friendly, encouraging, and welcoming to all women
Monday 4th May – Canyoning in Church Beck
Start your Monday with a splash! Meet at 9:30 AM in Coniston, then head to Church Beck for a two-hour guided canyoning adventure. With expert supervision and specialist gear provided, you’ll navigate natural slides, jump into pools, and scramble your way through one of the Lake District’s most exciting water routes.
No experience needed – just confidence in water
All technical kit provided
Great fun, big laughs, and a great way to finish your weekend
