About this Event
Conflict arises from differences in facts, ideas, goals, needs, attitudes, beliefs, and personalities. While some conflicts are simple and easily resolved, others — especially those involving values, identity, and personal needs — can become emotionally charged and destructive if not handled properly.
A disagreement over facts can often be resolved quickly. However, conflicts rooted in beliefs, personalities, or unmet needs often lead to frustration, anger, and escalation. Without addressing the emotional component, these conflicts remain unresolved and can cause long-term harm. This program helps participants recognize the type of conflict they are facing and develop healthier ways to respond before anger or misunderstanding takes control.
This program is for teens.
This program is presented by Project Keep’em Off the Streets (PKOTS, Inc.), a non-profit, 501(c)(3) youth-focused organization. Since its inception, the organization has been instrumental in serving the local community through effective programming, mentoring, and counseling, as well as community events.
