Confinement Nutrition & Recovery After Birth

Confinement nanny say cannot eat cold, Mum say must drink sesame oil, and Google says something completely different. End up eat everything also scared. Who do you actually listen to?

• What your body genuinely needs to heal tissue, rebuild blood supply, and recover from vaginal or Caesarean birth specifically (not a one-size-fits-all plan)
• Unpacking "heaty" vs. "cooling" foods, traditional ingredients like ginger and sesame oil, and which confinement rules are legit vs. just old-school lore.
• Identifying foods that genuinely support milk supply, without the myth that any single food guarantees more milk.
• How to explain your preferences to your nanny, helper, or in-laws without a confrontation (because recovery needs differ mother to mother!)

(Full session also covers: recognising postpartum warning signs that need medical attention, building a balanced daily confinement meal plan, and managing constipation/digestion comfortably.)

• Led by Shelley Skylene Kan (Certified Lactation Counsellor CBI Accredited, 10+ years & 3,000+ mums guided).
• Max 10 couples per session: Get actual physical positioning practice in a safe, zero-judgment room.
• Bonus: Enjoy 20% OFF your next Ready Parents workshop!
