Better knowledge. Better days on the water.Whether you’re just getting started or have been boating for years, there’s always something new to know. Join Captain Bill Moore for The Confident Boater—a relaxed, interactive classroom course where you can ask questions, share experiences, and meet fellow boaters.
We’ll cover:
• Know your boat: Basic systems, safety equipment, VHF radio, and handling the unexpected.
• Read the water: Weather, tides, navigation markers, charts, GPS, and boating apps.
• Make better decisions: Practical situations, boating etiquette, and putting your knowledge to work.
Bring your spouse, partner, friend, or regular crew member. When you learn together, you can make your days on the water better and safer together.
Your day includes breakfast, lunch, refreshments, course materials, swag, special offers, and giveaways—including on-the-water training, boat cleanings, and vessel inspections. Stay afterward for a beer and wine social.
This $295 course is available for $25 total for you and one guest through scholarships sponsored by Sunshine Without Borders Foundation and Naples Cancer Advisors. Scholarships are open to anyone to apply.
