The first half explores music shaped by shadow, tension and mythic imagination, before the sweeping radiance of Sibelius’s Second Symphony brings everything into the light. It’s one of the great symphonic journeys: bold, uplifting and full of heart.We’re passionate about welcoming people who've never had the joy of hearing a live orchestra, so if this will be your first ever orchestral concert, you can claim a free “Concert Virgin” ticket. For everyone else, tickets are £15 for adults, £10 for students, and £5 for under‑16s.
