Prelude 6:00 PM*
Immerse yourself in one of the most streamed classical works of the 21st century: Max Richter’s breathtaking recomposition of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, which has captivated hundreds of millions of listeners worldwide. The program also features the hauntingly beautiful “On the Nature of Daylight”—iconic from films such as Arrival and Shutter Island—alongside other luminous Richter scores. Violin soloist Vanessa Moss joins Music Director Nikolas Caoile on keyboard for an evening of cinematic, deeply emotional contemporary classical music that feels both intimate and expansive.
*Join us for a “Prelude!”, a pre-concert talk and Q&A with WVSO Music Director Nikolas Caoile at the Numerica PAC concert hall. Get ready for the show and dive into insights about our concert program.
Tickets will go on sale to the public on August 18th!
